María Corina Machado emphasized support for the opposition in Venezuela despite President Donald Trump saying it would be “very tough” for her to lead post-Maduro.

Donald Trump said Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado lacks support and respect to govern, contradicting Western media narratives after Maduro’s abduction.

She even offered him the Nobel Peace Prize she was awarded in October, a prize Mr. Trump has coveted for years.
