An emu on the run, a chase on foot, and handcuffs for a giant bird: a special kind of police operation took place in Florida recently!

A 25-year veteran of a Florida police department experienced a career first when a loose animal call resulted in him handcuffing an emu.

A corporal in St. Johns County had responded to what he thought would be a straightforward call about an animal on the loose.
