Freeze warnings were in place for 55 of Florida's 67 counties, and cold weather advisories were in place for 64 counties as far south as Miami-Dade County. At 5 a.m., the National Weather Service in Jacksonville reported it had tied its daily record low, with temps dropping to 22 degrees, which was last set in 1927.
