Costco is recalling a bakery treat sold at its warehouses after a labeling error created a dangerous allergen risk for shoppers.

A dessert item sold at Costco warehouses across almost two dozen states — Oregon and Washington included — was recalled due to undeclared allergens. Costco’s “Mini Beignets filled with Caramel” were packaged instead with the same product but filled with “Chocolate Hazelnut,
