I always see chipmunks at the edge of my yard, so in the fall I set up a birdfeeder there. I was filling it yesterday when a chipmunk ran out of the woods and into a new hole right at my feet! I waited to see if it would emerge, and sure enough, after a couple minutes it came right out again. I grabbed a Becorn and spent much of the day taking pics as the chippie came in and out again, hauling acorns into its hole. I think I’ll revisit this when the light is better and the background is green. I
