A woman who disguised herself as a man to trick her way into the Magic Circle has been allowed to join in her own right - 34 years after she was expelled. Sophie Lloyd fooled examiners into letting her join the men-only organisation in 1991. When they finally opened to women later that year, she revealed her deception and was promptly kicked out.
