To use a row counter, just follow these 3 easy steps: 1. Place counter on needles between 2 stitches like any other stitch marker. Knit as normal. 2. When you knit your way back to the counter and need to slide it from needle to needle, move the counter to the next number in the chain. 3. Use the attached melody clip to count the 'tens' place. How to use a chain row counter: 1. Replace any regular stitch marker with your row counter and knit 2. When you come back to the row counter, move it to the next number in the chain as you pass it from needle to needle 3. Once you have completed the chain (or completed a pattern repeat), move the melody clip to the next number to mark 10 rows completed (or 1 pattern repeat completed) 4. Keep On Knitting!
